Jewels and Gems at Harrogate Venue
The BLMDA Gem and Mineral Fair returns to Pavilions of Harrogate on Saturday
23rd and Sunday 24th August.
The show has been based in Harrogate since 1979 and is run by the British Lapidary
and Mineral Dealer’s Association, which is a non-profit making association run
by its members with the aim of widening the interest in lapidary, minerals and
fossils to the public.
This year’s show has over 40 exhibitors from as far afield as Scotland, Cornwall
and even South Africa. Visitors to the fair will be able to enjoy demonstrations
by the UK Facet Cutters’ Guild, as well as exhibition stands offering for sale
items as diverse as crystals, mineral specimens, fossils, beads, shells, books,
jewellery, carvings, cut stones and unusual gifts.
The fair is open from 10am to 5pm daily on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August, with admission £2.50 for adults and accompanied children under 16 are
free, making this a value for money event with extensive, free parking and excellent
refreshments.
For further details contact the fair organiser, Rex Cook, on 01282 614615.
Note: Yorkshire Event Centre Limited (YEC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the
